The ride home after shooting the eclipse yesterday.

I passed this on a nice divided highway in Tennessee about 30 minutes south of Nashville and was cruising good. Passed it .. saw it ,, but kept making time towards home. And every mile I went I thought how nice all those yellow flowers were in spite of the fact they are weeds. Finally after a couple more miles I just had to turn around and go snap this.

Worth it I think!

This and the next three shots are from a little hole in the road, Lascassas, TN, where two highways join in a fork.

The plaque on the front says 'Methodist Church, Erected in 1886'. I think this was in Woodbury, TN. This town is all about church steeples. There were four or five clustered in the small town center area. This one and one across the street had new steeples on them, well they looked new. And they were shining bright bright.

Auburntown, TN .. where the chicken rides a bike in the back of a 1950 Dodge B1C Pickup!

Wish I owned this old truck!
