Took the overland route coming home from Rides & Rails on the off hand chance I might pass something shot worthy. Sure enough on GA State Hwy 85 this bright red house and a what I thought was a waterfall flashed past my peripheral on the left. Had to turn around and go see what the heck it was.
Turned out to be Starr's Mill .. which I'd heard of but never had been to before. In fact I wasn't aware of where it was exactly. Great that I chanced by it on such a beautiful day. Mid afternoon pushing on to late, but not really golden hour for another couple of hours. Still, the light was pretty good for that time of the afternoon. Must have been the right number of cloud filters on it's journey.
These are more shots with the Olympus Zuiko 35-80mm f2.8 ED. Remember its the same day I shot Rides & Rails and I only took this one lens.
And having shot what I thought was the best angle of Starr's Mill .. at that moment, I decided it was a good spot to do my own faux car commercial add shots!
