Dukes Creek Falls, Georgia
Late afternoon, August 1st, 2017
Shot with a vintage 1980's Carl Zeiss 28mm 2.8 Distagon T* and Sony A7RII camera on tripod with a NiSi filter box and 6 stop ND.
I was on a wooden observation platform and had waited for quite a while for other people to leave. I knew I'd be in the range of 5 to 20 second exposures and was concerned about vibration during the exposures. It was now very late in the afternoon becoming early evening. So when it finally got down to just three or four other people I started making exposures by waiting until they moved and stopped. I made several exposures for bracketing and safety purposes and never really got any exposures where no one moved at all. In the end I got lucky as most were still fairly sharp.
f11, 10 second exposure, ISO 100
